Vicky Estrada-Bustillo for House District 31

Vicky is the relentless problem-solver we need.

My name is Vicky Estrada-Bustillo. 

The Northeast Heights of Albuquerque is my home. It’s where I raised my family. I have served these neighborhoods and worked to protect our community and the scenic landscape around it for most of my life. 

District 31 deserves tough, effective, proactive representation. 

Our elected leaders are too often just reacting to the problems we face. 

As a forest ranger, I couldn’t afford to be reactive. I had to roll up my sleeves and organize dozens of various groups — all with different, sometimes conflicting priorities —  to solve both day-to-day challenges and to keep us prepared for whatever tomorrow might bring. 

I never came first in those conversations. My job was to listen, to facilitate — and to lead. 

Crime, homelessness, education, healthcare, the environment: We cannot, as a state, just keep going around in circles on these tough issues. 

As a relentless problem-solver, I have spent my life cutting through the talk and getting to the heart of the solutions that will benefit everyone, now and into the future.

I come to public service honestly. I have worked my entire life for the benefit of others. 

Together, we will put the Northeast Heights and District 31 on the cutting edge of progress. 

On November 5, I hope to earn your vote.
